For installation, simply push each tip into place by hand as far as it can go. A rubber mallet is best used to gently tap the tips until they seat completely into place. DO NOT hit the tips too hard though. Small taps will do the job slowly but surely. It's also recommended to add a buffer between the tip and mallet, such as a folded over piece of cloth or rubber liner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FROM THE MANUFACTURER is that you have a small weld added to secure each tip in place. Exhaust or mechanic shops can usually do this for you very easily, quickly and cheaply.
