Bought to replace the plain-jane (boring) 3.8 on the back of my 2016 GC Ultimate.
1. I took some painter's tape to mark the bottom of the old 3.8 so that the new lettering would be nicely aligned.
2. I used a hair dryer and some dental floss to take the old lettering off. Then I used a credit card and some Goo Gone with a clean rag to remove the left behind residue.
3. Once I had the area really clean (microfiber cloth + Goo Gone), I took the backing off of the 380GT lettering (kept it in the styrofoam), lined it up to the painter's tape and pressed down. The adhesive took nicely and immediately.
4. Total time was about 10 minutes, just because I was meticulous about cleaning and lining up the lettering.
Looks awesome, much better than the "3.8". Highly recommend.
