AEM's cold air intake system has been designed and engineered with performance in mind. After extensive testing with multiple tube configurations, AEM engineers went with a two-piece, 2.75 inch aluminum intake tube design which routes a 7 inch cone filter down by the front bumper fog light. This allows the air filter to pick up cooler, ambient air flow for more consistent power gains across the powerband. This air intake system provided an estimated 16 horsepower and 14 ft-lbs of torque at 5700 RPM on AEM’s in-house dyno.
