With the Shadowbass box, the sound comes to life through the upgrade of the factory 20-watt subwoofer to a full professional 600-watt or 400-watt subwoofer. (Yes, the factory sub in your car is only 20-watts. Pathetic!) Since Hyundai only included the fix-a-flat accessories where the spare tire would not be located, this was a perfect spot to add a custom subwoofer enclosure. You can easily relocate the fix-a-flat items under a seat, in the glove box/arm rest, or even in a small box or bag that you can keep in your trunk. The amplfier for the JL Audio and Pioneer packages can be installed under the front seat (recommended), hidden behind the plastic panels in the trunk or any other location your installer feels is appropriate.
